Is there any app or setting to make when the phone switch to silent when there is any event? Would be awesome if it would switch back to the general profile in between so I dont have to change all the time when I have a lecture.

Currently I'm working on a wider idea with extending swi-prolog with temporal logic and adding event listeners to it. Theoretically it can give you ability to describe things like:
If it is late then add listeners to lite sensor and microphone
If it is late, dark and silent then owner is sleeping
If owner was sleeping before and alarm rang the owner is not sleeping
If owner is sleeping then switch to silent profile (start answering machine, that will inform caller, that owner is sleeping and ask if it is really needed to wake him).

Or
If a lecture is been told now and I'm at university then switch to silent mode.

But I'm at early stage: I know how to compile C++ programm with prolog integration that would work on n900 and general workflow design is done.

Hi KiberGus

Have you had any progress in this, or did you find another app with these functions?

Yes I have. I have file watching, dbus integration and timer working. n900 specific part supports headphones connector monitoring, shutter, keyboard monitoring, proximity sensor polling. You can listen to any dbus messages and send dbus signals.

Right now I need alarmd integration, liblocation integration and some cleanups (some resources are not cleared in destructors yet). And only half of documentation is written and only in russian.

So still have plenty to implement. For me it would be good to release it next week, but I'm not sure, that I would be able to.
