List what apps from what repos you have installed too - always useful to detect possible file hogs.
(If you have python installed - pyoptify on the wiki page is a good one too)

Note that you will never get it below 60/70%
still its showing 99%

i have one more query but thats regarding wifi connection,so can u help me on that

in the wiki, type in "free up rootfs space" it would probably direct you for some codes.

i believe i perform all codes except for those that have bugs (like moving themes, apt-cache etc on /home). at that time, im running 86% of rootfs used. after performing the codes and disabling devel, it free up 15mb of rootfs space.
