What does this app do?

Yeah, I know it sounds like a ridiculously dumb question. I read this thread and I think I can out dumber than before

In the media players there is an option to turn on the FM transmitter so you can transmit your music from the media players to your car stereo. This FMTX widget sits on your desktop and is a quick way to turn on this FM transmitter without going into several menus and steps to turn it on. This widget was done right and works great.

Nokia are a business and have chosen a path of using the OSS community phenomenon to reduce their overheads specifically after sales support and development. Unlike Apple who do the opposite and make a killing from their Applications store.

You don't have to read that thread. It was intended for people who have the FMTX disabled because the law doesn't allow it.
