By this I mean the feature to remember how far through a particular track the player was when it was last played. Panucci is great, but using it in conjunction with Sygic Maps seems to always make my phone crash after two or three voice commands being sent from Sygic.

mplayer supports track resume. I use it with the SiB GUI.
I don't use sygic maps though.

Cheers I'll try this. Which repo is the SiB GUI app in at the moment?
