I CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR WHATEVER HAPPENS AFTER YOU'VE DOWNLOADED THE FOLLOWING FILE. YOUR ON YOUR OWN. THE DEVICE COULD BE RENDERED BROKEN, USELESS OR SOME OTHER WAY LIMITED!!! ALSO NO HELP WILL BE PROVIDED BY ME TO FLASH IT TO YOUR PHONE.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

Have fun, dont break your device!

The faster kernels will come later if nobody reports a dead device in a week.

EDIT: Now also 650mhz available for the more careful people.
can you provide original please incase i want to go back.

thanks

MAKE SURE BATTERY IS FULL

make sure you put the kernel file into the maemo flasher folder on pc in windows it usaully c/prgramme files/maemo/flasher3.5

turn off n900 and hold u button on keyboard , connect the handset to the pc , a usb symbol should appear in top right of phone screen

on windows run maemo flasher as admin then run the command

flasher-3.5.exe -k zImage-800mhz -f -R

(please note that youll have to change the zimage-800mhz to whatever kernel your using ie zimage-900mhz or zimage-700mhz)

it should take approx 10 seconds max

make sure you put the kernel file into mameo flasher folder on pc so the flasher can find the file

PLEASE NOTE YOU DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK AND THERE ARE RISKS INVOLVED , PLEASE DO RESEARCH BEFORE FLASHING YOUR KERNEL ON YOUR N900 AND ONLY DO THIS IF YOU ARE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING , IF YOU DONT I ADVISE NOT DOING IT AT ALL

I've just put on the 700mhz patch and even that speed increase has impressed me. Youtube videos load a lot faster and much more smooth.

I think ill keep it at this for a while and wait for the next one just in case, even tho i would love to try it.

ive read that this will roll back to previous kernel mate but iam not sure maybe a member could confirm this

''you can reinstall the stock kernel by typing apt-get --reinstall install kernel kernel-flasher.''
