Basically the title explains it all. Also, my sim card is functional, just tried it with several phones. Anyone know what the heck is going on? I've tried reflashing several times already and with different firmware and this problem still persist.

did you do the eMMC too?

Yeah, of course. I flashed the eMMC first than the firmware.

Does flashing your phone void warranty?

It is entirely possible that the cellular modem died. Did you try other SIM cards in your N900?

Hi. May sound silly, but this happened to me as well when I reflashed. I hadn't reflashed to the latest firmware though so as soon as I finished reflashing, I installed the latest firmware OTA and eveything worked fine after. Hope this helps!

Seen this before:

If you downgrade before version 2.2009.51, the phone component stops working due to a difference in phone hardware firmware. Don't reflash to ancient versions.. and use app-manager to upgrade via wifi..

Thanks for the tips guys. Everything seems fine now.

Just out of curiosity, is there any difference between the global and USA firmware?
