Hi, all
I am new to Maemo talk and this is my first thread.

I am thinking of developing an application that enables the user to search for anything by just pronouncing words, the application shall do speech recognition and then show the results to the him/her.

I was hoping to make a proposal to GSOC 2010 with this application.
If you have any suggestions or feedback, I would be pleased to hear it from you.

I would love to see this and was hoping vlingo was going to announce support for the n900. If you integrate social network abilities and sms and calling functions to this it will be a very powerful tool.

Will look forward to hearing future updates on this and good luck.

Thanks MissingByte for the reply, yes I think adding calling and sms functions would be easier after doing the speech recognition part

I found Pocket Jeeves project idea here I think I will make it my idea within my proposal
