hello,
on the iphone a double tab on the safari titlebar (always there since no fullscreen is available) brings one to the top of the page. this is very helpful and much more convenient than endless scrolling.

now:
does anybody know an easy way to get back to the top of a webpage either with firefox or microb on the n900? is there a shortcut i have missed?

don't know about such a shortcut but you can do two things:

1. fully zoom out with the circle movement and zoom in at the top or bottom ^^
2. use space for page down or shift + space for page up

thank you. i've gone trough the wiki. seems like there is no single action that brings me to the top of a page.

i'll probably continue with pressing shift-space several times.

it could be worse and maybe an upgrade will change the situation one day and bring me the one action luxury.

going directly to the top really feels very good - because this is where the menu usually resides.

You can map the Fn-cursor keys combinations to Home, End, Page Up and Page Down. See http://blogs.igalia.com/berto/2009/1...00-arrow-keys/

DISCLAIMER: you have to have root access to do this and you should backup the file before making modifications. This backup should not be kept in the same folder. It's not recommended if you are not comfortable doing this.

Home and End do not work in full screen in the PR1.1 browser. Reportedly, it is fixed in PR1.2.

That would be nice. For now switching from full screen to normal mode and using Home and End is better than scrolling a really long page.
