Heya all, been reading for a while, but haven't posted much (not quite an expert yet )

Notice: please note that i'm new to the platform and know very little about computers. I will gladly add any information that is needed and accept corrections on anything that i could be wrong about. (including if this topic is in the wrong subforum...)

That being said, here two things that i noticed recently while using my n900, and i don't know if they're related:

- I can't use the app manager, when i start it, the log says:
"
hildon-appication-manager 2.2.52.2
E: Encountered a section with no Package: header
E: Problem with MergeList /var/lib/apt/list/downloads.maemo.nokia.com_freemantle_ssu_._Package s
E: The Package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened.
"
This repeated 3 times
I can not acces the list of applications installed to uninstall them and am unable to look for updates. If logs needed for that too, just ask.

- Also i've noticed that in the file manager, some of the folders appear twice, like audio clips, documents, camera, images and video clips. Could this have to do with the fact that i have catorise installed?

Thanks for any input

Try disabling all your repositories, exit App Manager, then go back in and re-enable them all again.

No, this is a bug in File Manager - it seems to be triggered by having too many files/folders in the MyDocs directory. It's fixed in the PR1.2 release, so I'd just ignore it for now.

Thanks for the input, disabling and enabling the repos seems to have done the trick!

To fix the duplicated directories, try this:

It worked for me.
