X11 connection rejected because of wrong authentication. The application 'image-viewer' lost its connection to the display localhost:10.0; most likely the X server was shut down or you killed/destroyed the application.

Just thought someone might be interested to know i had some success with this today, didn't spend long on it but i managed to get fennec (firefox) sort of running by installing xauth, im just about to leave work so i can't post much more info but if anyone is interested in getting this up and running i am going to have a proper crack tomorrow.

I don't quite understand what you are trying to do here. Are you trying to run apps on the N900 and display on a PC, or vice versa? ssh can cope with all this stuff on its own, without having to install xauth. It could be that your use of sudo is losing the display authorisation. Why are you using sudo in this way?
