Just so i understand this correct.. I want to run at 850mhz. Do i keep my pmconfig at 850000 or change it? Should i just install the new kernel and restart?

keep your pmconfig at 850000, install and reboot. if you want minimum=125MHz use 124000.

Today, a preview version of the installed PR1.2 initially feel a bit new version of N900 firmware of some changes, on the whole, feel welcome positive changes, and in the case of 1GHz overclock stable, should be affirmed. 与之前公布的更新内容相近( 新闻回顾 )。 And similar to previously announced updates

Worked like a charm (almost)

It was switching between 850 and 250 during call. When call ended it went down to 250mhz. So even if i changed to 124 000 as min_freq it still sit at 250 000. I rebooted after the change of pmconfig and before the test.

huh? The PR1.2 SDK kernel is still 2.6.28. Only in my kernel I upgraded to 2.6.28.10.
or do they have a more recent kernel in P1.2??
also I doubt they enabled overclocking in PR.

by default the kernels sets the range to [250,600MHz] (even if pmconfig contains 125000/600000).
To set the minimum to 125MHz use 124000, for a maximum of 600MHz use 599000, otherwise use the real frequencies.
min=125000 and max=600000 are ignored by the kernel.
I installed this kernel and it seems to work. Good job.

I'm running some pi tests against different MHz. I'll post results when I'm done.

edit: 800mhz pi run on 1 mil. completed fine. 1ghz run of pi rebooted the phone.
