How to Commenting out the SDL_WM_SetIcon?

edit the conf file??

You have to comment it out in the code and recompile it and reinstall

oh so only the maintainer can do it....the keys make a lot easier for recruit or finish the round etc...

I fixed right click and focus problem. Yay!

mapped rightclick to ctrl-click and commented out the SDL_WM_SetIcon bit:

It's exactly the same source as the one in the repo but with small mods in src/mouse_handler_base.cpp lines 42-43 and in src/image.cpp line 675

if you just want to play, install wesnoth from extras-devel, and then download the deb and dpkg -i wesnoth_1.6.5-3_armel.deb as root in whatever place you saved the deb file. The original will be replaced by the new one and everything should be as before.

It currently wont show up in app menu, so you have to launch x-term and type wesnoth to launch it.

EDIT: the maintainer could perhaps put these fixes in the repo version, with proper version number and whatnot if he has time

ok after some pondering I think I might have gotten the wesnoth.desktop file fixed in the newer deb. Works for me. dunno about you. The rest is the same either way.

I'm trying to replace the current data file 1.6.5 to the new stable release 1.8...

See if it works.

Any chance to put the whole version including the fixex into extras-testing (and extras-devel)? After playing a wesnoth campaign on my N900 for a while now I think there are no major bugs which should prevent developers from publishing.
