ohh yes multitasking was one of the major reasons for me to buy the n900 now there are not much really good arguments for the N900 beside the open source.

Strange that Iphone 3G gets iPhone OS 4.0 update (sans multitasking), but the original iPhone doesn't. They have same CPU, RAM, GPU etc.
Wonder how much crying that will cause.

I think my iPod touch is running at 532 MHz. Both my n810 and my n800 multi-task just fine at 400 MHz with a very, very similar CPU and a much heavier OS, and Apple doesn't consider the iPod touch 2G psuedo multi-tasking worthy? They are truly software pussies.
