Awesome!

I also have an extra device I can pitch in as well if needed.

Just keep me in touch with this.

Thanks tarek!

Hello all!

I finally got this message in follow-up, which I think seals this conversation:

Date: Mon, 29 Mar 2010 07:54:25 -0700 (PDT)
From: PEPID Technical Support <support@PEPID.com>
Subject: RE: Re: Help getting Pepid working on GVM (#8665-161091809-5090)

Hello Tarek -

To date I have been unable to get PEPID successfully running on the GVM emulator you suggested. I am able to get the application installed but the database content will not load and stay stable enough for use. Since the Palm OS platform is no longer in development, we cannot spend more time troubleshooting the matter. If you are looking for other ways to access the PEPID program, we are releasing our Android application in the near future. Should you be interested, there is a beta test period that should be starting soon.

If you have any further questions, comments, concerns, or problems please feel free to contact us via phone, email, or through the Live Help feature of the PEPID web site.

Thank you,

Justin H.

Hello,

It has been some time since I last heard from you, and I'm wondering where things were at for Pepid on Maemo via the Garnet VM. I'm at a bit of a crossroads and just wondering if I should move on and try something else.

Thank you!

Well that's a chunky load of garbage.

Would have made my year if they figured out what was going wrong with their product.

Anyway, thanks for posting that.

Well, your bounty is a little bit too restricted, can I get 50$ of the bounty if I get it going on N900? I am holding my breath...

Pepid with Emergency Physician suite is up and running on my N900 under nitdroid.

Step by step instruction:
Install nitdroid, and go to Pepid dl emergency physician suite and click installed. Done.

Hey, where is my $50?

It runs very smooth and has anything under the sun about practice emergency medicine.

Funny. For that kind of advice, I could donate $50 to an open source project of your choosing in your name, though..

Dont worry, I have no intention of robbing you $50. Anyhow, I have both Merck manual and Pepid on my nitroid. I can compare.

Pepid - smaller, more diagram, has drug book, not free; no gvm, only android
Merck Manual - larger, more info, more details, more table, less diagram, no drug book, free? and palm gvm installable.

I think either one is fine. Rarely need both.
