It seems to me that the talk.maemo.org server has some outages, that last about 15 minutes at a time. There was one just some minutes ago, and looking at active topics post times it seems that it's not just me. I think this was the third for me within a week. It's pretty annoying if it hits just when trying to post something.

Are others seeing this?

I have experienced the same thing twice this morning and a few times last night, I wasn't sure if the fault was on my side or not so i didnt mention it.

There used to be a schedules update check happening on the server every 12:00 GMT which I disabled. It would be great if you can note down the specific time so I can isolate it better.

Thanks for reporting this.

Yeah I can confirm I've seen intermittent outages over the last few weeks. they are rare but probably once a week or so.

about 1:00pm GMT(or whatever time we are called in the summer - London area) was jittering for about 5/ 10 minutes.

I'm quite sure that 2010-04-12 12:10 GMT+0 (15:10 GMT+3 from my perspective) is within the time there was a problem. I don't have exact start and end (was typing a post while it started, and didn't hammer it).

IIRC it doesn't seem to be at around 12:00 GMT always. I'll make note of the exact times if I still see it.

I was experiencing outages at approximately 1:00pm today.

For me , it seems to happen at lunch time (1:00pm) on other days too.

I can confirm that every morning since the last few weeks from 8h00 to 8h15 or 8h30 (Eastern Daylight Time) I can't access the web site.

It's UTC 12h00 to 12h30.
