While customizing sms/im conversation layouts is exteremely popular I'm wondering if there's any way to customize contact layouts. My best internet-aware friends have 2+ pages of buttons, while I only use 3-4 of them often.
With PR 1.2 coming out, nokia is introducing some ways to address this problem, e.g. switching off sms to landlines.
However, this is hardly ever enough for me, since I don't need skypeout at all, while skipe2skype call is one of my usecases.

It would be great to find a way to change buttons order and size, and possibly to get rid of some buttons completely. Both user-wise and global solutions would be interesting.

Any thoughts?

The Contacts application is closed source and AFAIK it doesn't use xmls that can be added so it might not be possible.
