I came across this article when surfing google.

http://www.knowyourmobile.com/mobile...kia_maemo.html

It says that Maemo will get Galaxy Fire 2 later this year

I've never played the game before, but judging from gameplay videos on Youtube, it looks like it might make use of the N900's accelerometer.

Lets hope the N900 has some half-decent mobile games before the end of 2010.

N900 runs Maemo so you don't have ot port it since they are making for the n900.

I particularly like this one, ftfa:

Nokia Maemo smartphones, such as the Nokia N900, will receive a special version featuring high-definition graphics. We assume the extra graphical bells and whistles will translate over to iPad users, too, but don’t quote us on that.
EDIT: Haha I just quoted them on that, when they told me, in the actual quote, not to quote them

Hope it makes to N900 soon since that really is a good game. I played it with my old phone (N70),but it was nearly too slow to play. Thankfully it will be faster (and better looking) on N900!

Seems nice, although I'd prefer a landscape view for this kind of game.

Another good option for space lovers could be Open AstroMenace:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/openastromenace/

if someone dares to port it.
