Anyone with battery problems have you tried running conky to see whats draining your battery it also shows cpu usage aswell.

Yesterday i had serious battery drain it was that bad i could nearly watch the battery icon go down from halfway to the red.

Also

Has anyone with battery problems been using the uae emulators my problems seem to have started since i installed them (not uae4all)?

Right. This was reported as a bug, but later classified as a feature. see: https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7636
