@sopwith: I think it has to do with the source documents. A 10" pad can reproduce A4-sized documents in more natural fashion...

Sure... The only device I know of that is good for A4-sized documents is the Kindle DX. This is however a very limited usecase.
Web content should be fine on anything 5''+, if properly formatted, IMO.
"I'd buy THAT for a buck"
