Yeah.. a reflash would probably solve your problem. If it's not a harware fault. Do not trust the temp as it is not exactly. It could have been hotter. You might have fried the recievers of the n900 while running at that speed (hopefully not). They are probably more fragile. Have you tried the GPS?

If the keyboard feels warm i would rekommend running att lower mhz. Even if it not stops working at once it will tear on the hw and eventuallt "dry" it out.

Please let us know how it goes. You must be the first one this close to fry the device.

For food I recommend frying it in a titanium pan.
For frying the N900 I recommend the titan kernel @ >=900Mhz
Bon appetit!

You just need to user Queen beecon Widget and use that code on it.
Then, make it run every boot, and it's done!

permanently so that I dont have to type this code every reboot. Bacause it always go back to 250mhz after making a call using titan's ideal settings

I am trying to update kernel-flasher-maemo in extras testing to the new version 2.6.28-maemo23 but it reports an error:

Conflict wuth application packages:

kernel-modules-maemo
kernel-maemo
kernel-modules-maemo
kernel-maemo

How do I resolve these conflicts?

Thanks!

The new version is maemo24 in extras-testing i believe. Maybe if you try to remove the old one first and then install the new one.

You could try to do it in terminal for a better overview of the problem. Using apt-get.
