I know these issues were addressed earlier in the thread but with so many pages, trying to find the fix might be time consuming. Is there a simple solution to fix About information?

The reason I want to fix this is so that I can use Nokia updater when PR1.2 is released.
i did a search and...

to see what mp you should run in terminal as root.
Code:
dpkg -l mp-fremantle-*
and
Code:
apt-get install --reinstall mp-fremantle-xxx-pr
xxx = your version.. most ppl got generic

reboot and se if it worked

Cheers.
Your queen_beecon file gets saved as that, not as .queen_beecon

So it won't replace the original one..
rename won't work with the . in front of that name.
That is not allowed

If you get permission denied you could try while root:

Code:
chmod 777 .queen_beecon
and
Code:
mv queen_beecon .queen_beecon
if you have it in the same folder.

running the ideal, lv etc. kernels didnt work, they didn't go below the 500MHz so i made my own, with the use of the wiki.

but now, i tried 125000 and 124999 as a minimum, but according to conky the minimum speed is still 250MHz.

if i run
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_min_freq

it says that the minimum is 125000

Typing generic seems to have worked. The "About" info is now displayed as Maemo 5 and version 3.2010.02-8

Thanks!
