so did u get it to work? it works fine for me. I am using Nokia Messaging (push mail) service. Though i have to say, hotmail emails dont get pushed as quickly as yahoo and gmail

I get this every now and then - I think it might be down to some hidden characters in HTML e-mail messages. It always occurs in line breaks.

I also agree that the client is not very good. I use IMAP and POP3 and it regularly stalls, fails to delete, closes down.

Ok since this will not be fixed i guess. Can anyone help me to access mobile version of gmail? Like the one for android or iphone? Should i change user agent o just a link will do?

Another thread where I raise Both eyebrows:

Why do people even respond? A Thread with "Mail client is crap on N900" as the title is no constructive post or help request, therefor there's absolutely no reason for people who have no problems with their device to post anything in response. It's a simple whine thread...right?

It is push but not very reliable as not always instantaneous. My emails sometimes come as late as an hour later unlike blackberry where it is always instantaneous.
