Is there any way by which i can modify the display name of the contact shortcuts on the desktop ?

i keep my contacts organized by <Company Name> <Contact Name>.
But on the home screen I would like the <Contact Name> only. It seems to pick up only the first name, so if I have more than 1 contact on the desktop with the same company, you cant tell which is which. (I do not have contact pictures).

Any ideas if any config files can be modified for each contact on the desktop or is it more like a general setting applied to all the contacts placed on the home screen ?

Add a Nickname as it picks nicknames before first names.
