Btw, quick question about image resizing: What possible implications would I encounter if I set it to "Large"? Well, other that my phonebill will be higher due to more data being transmitted?

I m facing problems in configuring new APN as i m new on n900 .. the configuration settings provided by the company are as follow:

Configuration for MMS

Access Point Name/Node: mms
Login name: Telenor (Case Sensitive)
Password: Telenor (Case Sensitive)
WAP Gateway IP: 172.18.19.11
Port (if required): 9201
Port (if required for HTTP handsets): 8080
Relay Server/ Messaging Server: http://mmstelenor or http://172.18.15.1

At another website these are:

TELENOR MMS SETTINGS FOR IPHONE:

•APN : mms
•User Name : Telenor
•Passwordd : Telenor
•MMSC : http://mmstelenor
•MMSC Proxy : 172.18.19.11:8080
•MMS Max Message Size : leave blank
•MMS UA Prof URL : leave blank

will some1 help me what to put where??

Hi,

Ok, for the first time fMMS works for me, thanks a lot !
However I have installed the "sharing plugin for fMMS" to be able to share photos from fMMS, but apparently it doesn't work at all. Is there something to configure somewhere for that ?

In the APN Configuration dialog enter:
Access point name: mms
Username: Telenor
Password: Telenor
Proxy: 172.18.19.11
Proxyport: 8080
MMSC: http://mmstelenor

If this doesn't work, try replacing proxyport with 9201 and MMSC with http://172.18.15.1

No trace of an actual send or receive being attempted there - please try to send yourself an MMS and wait for an hour or two, if it doesn't show up please send me the new log file to fmms@frals.se

Please elaborate on what doesn't work and exactly what steps you are going through. Thank you!

The operator might not accept it for delivery, the receiver might not get it since it exceeds the 'standard' message size for an MMS... Or, everything is just fine. Not sure how your operator bills but mine only bills per MMS regardless of size

Problem with fMMS? Run in x-terminal: cp /tmp/fmms.log /home/user/MyDocs/
After that you'll see fmms.log in filemanager or when you connect the device to your desktop as a mass storage device.
E-mail the log to me, if you don't have the email address, drop me a PM. Thanks!

I opened a bug: https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10001

Basically, there's nowhere I can see an option to share via MMS. Not even under "share via service" (I don't know the exact wording, my locale isn't english).
The only way it to launch fMMS, but the photo chooser isn't really usable when you have many photos.
