Actually, what does "Settings -> Display -> Power Saving" do?

not sure what it really does, but i find out that it dims light a little bit and the quality of graphic decreases a little bit

anyway it's just from what i observed

I *believe* it enables the CABC stuff.

If you wonder, CABC stands for Content Adaptive Backlight Control. It allows reducing backlight or brightness levels depending on the image being shown to save power. For instance, if the image contains only dark pixels, the brightness of the backlight can be reduced. This will naturally boost the pixel value.
