I've got 770 and design of the case is far superior I think - I'd have to carry the n800
around in a case which wouldn't be so convenient. On the other hand my Rio Karma
broke last week and I think 8GB of SD memory would make a good replacement; although the battery life won't compare both support scrobbling and I can use internet radio bittorrent and soulseek on a tablet. The upgrade will cost me about £100 plus 8gb of SD memory will likely cost about £50 (that buys 2 SanDisk SecureDigital Ultra II 4GB cards from Amazon UK). So I could just grab an iRiver Clix 2 instead (albeit it'd mean carrying yet another device). I'm aware of the faster processor, but with 64mb of Virtual RAM/Swap and OS 2006 (tried 2007 HE but it was too unstable for me) I'm happy with the browsing/canola/pidgin/vnc experience, and the webcam wouldn't swing it for me either - I've got a N70 with spare free videocall minutes monthly and find there's no use for it other than showing off.
I really can't justify it - the iRiver is tiny and the much extended battery life is what really wins it for me. I do feel abit left behind for the sake of £100 though, maybe there's some compelling reason I'm missing?
