Hey guys, i'm experiencing massive battery drain in last week or two, so i installed battery eye to see what's really happening. You can see the result in the attached image, quite a drain ain't it (half of the power over the night - the device was idle).. Anyone has a clue what my problem might be? I now uninstalled all the apps that i'm not using and i'll report if it's any better.. If any one has any suggestions i'll be more than happy to hear them.

it seems a MAJOR portion of my battery consumption (and n900 getting hot sometimes) is due to the im protocols...
i kept them offline today and i've had my 3G data connection on almost all day and my battery is still WELL over 60% charged. when normally i need to re-juice by midday (fyi my mfe is set to always on)
i remember reading about this before (something about the protocols not being in sync or efficient when sending packets back to the server?) but i dont remember if a solution is (will be) available.
i usually have skype, ovi, jabber, gtalk, msn(pecan) online and nothing from extras or devel
can anyone offer any insight on whether my battery life should be that short with im protocols online?
much appreciated.
