Because the filesystem on the MyDocs partition is Fat32, which can't hold files over 4GB.

so i need to somehow split storage and make what? ext3 or smth?
...how to get possible to copy and play HDvideos?

It is impossible..unless you format your sd card to ntfs and install ntfs support from the repos.

You'd need to make it a filesystem that is usable in both windows and linux, and can support files bigger than 4GB.

Unfortunately, no filesystem exists that meets those requirements, and everything else needs a large pile of hacks. I suggest downconverting, since I don't see how the N900 will even be able to play a 720p h.264 file.

If you're playing the video using the tv-out on your N900, you should downconvert anyway seeing as how you're losing most of the blu-ray video quality. o_O
