I want to use the Nokia 770 as multifunktional intelligent Display at my Home.
I want to be informed about temperatures, weather forecasts new emails and so on in every room and therefor some changes are necessary.

1. Is it possible to change the Display switch off time / brightness period to "AlwaysOn"?

2. Is it possible to use the 770 without a battery (only a powersupply)?

3. Is it possible to switch the 770 on (and start some applications) by pluging the powersupply?

How heavy is it to change thease things for a newbie at Nokia 770 and linux?
I am skilled in programming Windows applications.
