I've noticed that the built-in notes app on my N770 saves files in HTML, albeit a butchered version of it. That's a shame -- I direct a theatre company and would love the ability to take notes with my tablet and immediately upload the saved files directly to a web server for public display.

Is there an easy tweak to strip the " " and similar junk out of saved notes, or am I better off with Maemopad or something similar?

Thanks in advance for any pointers on this...

1) You could edit the html code created by 'notes' by opening them up in Leafpad & then doing a 'find & replace' on the tags you wish to clean up. (There is a 'Replace all at once' option)

2) You could let HTMLTidy Online do it for you

Thanks for the ideas!

Unfortunately though, I've an even bigger problem, as documented in this thread...
