Hardware wise the device looks good, just a couple of points.

1. Why a 640x360 resolution? most smart phones are doing 800x480.
2. Why only 600+mhz processor, most smart phones coming out right now are doing 800-1ghz. That would be nice.
3. Did I read that it'll support tmo 3G? if so i'll def look into it as long I read good reviews on symbian s^3

If you look closely it says that it will have a capacitive stylus in select markets....

1. It's Symbian thing. It can be scaled like we have already seen with old 3rd edition phones, but it doesn't seem to be problem free. Will change in S^4.
2. It seems to be 680mhz that would mean it's OMAP36xx and it's good to remember that TI OMAP3 will beat Snapdragons *** in GPU fight. OMAP3 will also be much more flexible than what Qualcomms Snapdragon is like we have already seen with N900, Droid and Pre.
3. It seems so. Nokia and T-Mobile USA have had some loving going on so it might be true.

If the 600MHz means it's less power hungry, I'll gladly take the "slow" processor. Smartphones have crap battery life, and Symbian can easily handle 600MHz.

(Not trying to start a discussion about race to idle.)

Strange design, really strange.
I hope we'll see a xenon in a meego device in the near future.

Yes it does. In fact if you read more closely you'll see that it is the first mobile phone supporting every single 3g band available in the world. By the way these specs are for the chinese version of the phone.

EDIT: It could be that those bands stated in the spec sheet can be for different models. Who knows.

so it's a new version of omap 3 running at higher speed. that's good.
and with tmo 3g even better.
so far that's two positives.

i'll still take a wait and see approach on this, if this was running meego it ould be better.

always wondered why there has never been a phone that truly is worldwide 3g supporting all 3g bands.

Hey, to me it looks absolutely fine.. As long as it has a good standard browser same or very similar to MicroB then I am very interested.. If it's going to be the same old S60 browser then, it's not for me.. After using MicroB on the N900 I can't go back to any other browser on a mobile device..

Don't think it'll be microb. Don't think any other mobile os platform uses/has microb
