Hey guys, is there any sms timer? i think it will not be very hard to programm it^^ i want to write an sms but my n900 shall sent it later ... are there any apps for it?

No, but there's Alarmed that allows scheduling of commands. Now all we need is a simple SMS CLI App.

yeah, I like your idea.
on my omnia i had also such an application and it was really quite useful.
you will never have to remember a birthday.. just write it on one day and set the time

i am not a coder, but I think that our coders make such a application. they only have to set a date-hour-minute option while sending the message

shouldn't be very much more than a dbus call at the specified date and time.
is there an exhaustive documentation of maemo's dbus interfaces (no, i am not going to code that)?

There is a difference between sending sms on birthday and in 5hours.

If you want birthday, check brainstorm and vote, I already submitted it a while ago. If not, command line is the besr bet IMO.
