post 4, but it needs some knowledge of system. So no easy way to do it.

thanks for the code. I already tried 1234 before! so close yet so far away. I have a suggestion for the autolock feature. I want it disabled when I'm on my home wifi network but enabled when I'm away from home.

I assume you want to lock the device without the code?
At least the current way at least makes sure you know the code and can therefore unlock it. If you could lock the phone with a shortcut and it could be done without entering a code - you might never unlock it with out re-flashing?

Hi Slender

So therefore it is not possible to modify the sliding switch at the side to secure the device rather than lock it or have some desktop shortcut which would lock the device?

Thanks

Chris

Uh? You surprise me. People have been complaining over and over that the N900 becomes unlocked once they receive a call:

@Andre if you use the small slide button at the side the behavior is like the ppl in the bug awaiting it , if you use the double tap at the power button to lock the device its unlocking when a call comes in. So i want that its unlocked couse with the first way you see whos calling for a second or two and then the screen turns black again. Becouse this i lost a few calls.
