Hi everyone... This is bijs from India. I got my N900 today in India which is bought from US 1 week back. The initial feeling is just awesome.. I'm yet to explore many things. The version shows as Maemo 5, 2.2009.51-1.002. Is the phone firmware is already updated with the latest ones ? I didn't check for any updates till now. Also games like bounce is missing. Isn't it comes with the phone? I was using N70 and i want to transfer the contact. I tried transfer wizard in N70, but it transferred as a single .sis file in N900. I guess it's not compatible. What is the best method to transfer the contacts and calendar. Also what essential apps can i install immediately.
Thanks in advance.

Hey guys, I apologize for the inconvenience. I will take care in the future.
Regarding my second part of my question, can you help me out - How to transfer contacts & calendar from N70 (symbian) to N900.

Go to "settings" in N900
Select "Transfer & Sync"
Hit "Next"

and follow instructions to use the bluetooth on both devices to sync your data.

Hope that helps.

I'm trying the sync with bluetooth, but it's failing on the last step. I'm a able to send contacts manually (selecting multiple contacts and sending) via bluetooth from my N70, but N900, first it saves as .vcf in mydocs, and then ask for saving to contacts. For every contact it prompts for saving, much makes difficult to do it manually.

I had a tough time to transfer my contacts from N70 to N900. Sad to say that Ovi doesn't support N900 for syncing. Finally good old PC suit comes for resue, exported the contacts to a .CSV file and imported the .CSV file to N900. All is well . Also updated the firm ware and now the version is 3.2010.02-8.002
