Make sure to "dpkg --purge fmtx-faker" before installing this version.

The version info/backup ****up should be gone with this version as it does not run upon startup and quits after sending the fake result, so it's saving a bit of memory on that front, too.
It also patches Media Player too.
Hi, i have a small question. should i type dpkg --purge fmtx-fker in xterminal even if i never had fmtx-faker on my phone before? Or is it if i update from 0.1 to 0.2 ? By the way i installed the fmtx-faker 0.2 fro the extras-devel but it it was as i knew 0.1
was... The <unknown> in about product and media player not having the shortcut. Could it be because i didnt used the command you said? I didnt had any other version installed.. Anyway now my n900 is flashed and fresh! :-)

Edit: I tried again, not from extras-devel and i used the command you said and it works perfectly now!!! No about product problem, it shows in media player normally... By the way it works with fm-boost without problems too! Thank you so much!!! Now i can take advantage of even more possibilities of my n900!

I'm another poor Greek guy with his transmitter disabled. I installed fmtxfake and now it seems ok. Now I see that the FM transmitter is enabled but when I try to use it nothing happens. I open the media player, set the FM transmitter in a particular frequency where my radio plays but I can't hear the song of the media player. How can I test my FM transmitter works? Has anyone an idea of what is the problem? Thanks in advance

When I put my phone right next to an antenna then it works. Only then. I tried fm boost but nothing changes. Any ideas?
