Hi guys, this has only started happening today, even if I try to open a pic that I've taken with the camera it still says ¨Unable to open non-local files¨, then goes straight to all images.
The only thing I can think of is a web page that I went to today and got redirected all over the place until eventually completely freezing up the phone and me having to remove the battery. Can n900's get viruses?

Cheers.

Removing the battery to "fix" something is almost always a bad thing when it comes to a full operating system. You might very well have done it at just the wrong moment and now you're stuck with a corrupted file system.

What do you get if you open an XTerminal and type
Code:
du -h
What happens if you type
Code:
ls -al /home/user/MyDocs/.images
Your photos are saved in this directory.

For future "fixing", try Ctrl+Backspace on the keyboard to get back to the process managing view and try to kill the browser by tapping the blue X.

Another handy tip if you can't get this far is to tap the power button, and then tap "End Current Task" in the menu that appears. Sorry I can't help with your photos, though.

Everything looks ok. Then it's anybody's guess why you can't open the photo.

It's got a whole lot worse guys, I turned it off and now it won't turn back on again. After I press the power button the white light stays on and I get the white nokia start up screen but after that fades it turns itself off. I've had the battery and sim out. When I plug the charger in, it vibrates every 5 seconds but no orange light. I'm so concerned because if it is a virus, the warranty doesn't cover it.
Any ideas?
