Click on your name on the top right of the Maemo.org page then go up to "Page -> Edit Account". Scroll down you will find:

talk.maemo.org account url

And an input box. Put the URL to your public t.m.o profile there and save your profile.

Well, pyPianobar would be ready to go if we didn't have a random new account thumbs down it and not tell me why ..

As it is:

We need 1 more vote for pyPianobar and 3 more for pianobar!!! Remember we have to vote for both apps because I can't push pyPianobar without pianobar!

(well, technically now that a broken pianobar is in extras I probably could... but... oh bleh. You get the point! )

If you think the t-down is unfounded (which is how it seems 0 karma, no desc), I can recommend manual promotion by the testing squad. My guess is that the user had devel enabled and had pyqt (=pr1.2) issues.

I'll wait until pianobar gets to 10 (at 8 now) and when it's ready to go if I havent squeezed the extra vote for pyPianobar I'll shoot you a PM! Appreciate the help with that.

I don't necessarily mind thumbs down if they would provide a reason.. I can't fix what I don't know is broken. I agree with you that I think it was a failure to install from devel because it appeared right after that problem started happening.

Ok, this is strange.

I got 11 votes, 10 positive on pyPianobar, which meets the 10 requirement for promotion - but I can't promote pyPianobar! WTH? What's the point of having the counter system (thumbs down = -1) if it is meaningless and a single thumbs down can prevent promotion of an app? If that's the case as soon as someone votes it down it should just clear the numbers and say "broken" if that's how they wanna do it. Very weird, I just figured that you needed X additional + votes, where X is the number of - votes on an apps.

As for pianobar - we just need one more! If you've voted on pyPianobar and not pianobar please go do so now! We are so close!.

Just bumping again, still need just one vote on pianobar!!

I really need a working pianobar in Extras, please please place your vote! (then I can also promote the newer pyPianobar with the UI fixes to testing.)

The 10 day quarantine is not yet up. You pushed the package to testing on 04-26, so still a few days to go.
