Sorry guys, I hadn't realized anyone was actually using this!

Can you paste the output of aptly so that I can attempt to correct whatever errors you have?

[edit]
Actually, I found the issue. Seems there was an error with the build script I used, which caused the paths to be incorrect for aptly. In fact, I would recommend uninstalling aptly because the paths are so borked.

I've just been inspired to write a new version of aptly, and I'll have something released one way or another before the end of the day

There's a thanks button for that ;-).

Seriously though, thank you. I stopped working on it back in January because a) my N900 was constantly back and forth between me and Nokia's repair center and b) because I didn't think anyone was using it.

I suppose b was a direct cause of me not properly promoting my project :P

[edit]
A new version is finished and I am currently writing the packaging script (By hand this time to ensure there are no problems like the last time).

If you are interested in the changes, check out my blog. To peek at the code, chech the git repository

Well, I finished a version for autobuilder forever ago, but it kept getting rejected. There is a temporary version in the devel right now, but I wouldn't bother. Once I get a reply back from the devs and can upload a new version, I'll create an [announce] post.

New version has been ready forever ago. In fact, I pushed to extras testing but it got downvoted because the app-manager icon wasn't the one shown here: http://wiki.maemo.org/Extras-testing...e_applications

Anyways, py2deb doesn't support adding such icons, so I created a help script that does so for me, but the built packages always get rejected. Until I can get this figured out, the only way to get the latest version of aptly is to check out the git version. Damned index errors. I fixed the problem in my helper script and I suspect this to be in testing (yes, testing, not just devel) within the next hour or so.
