i have a probelm with skype on my n900 : i closed the skype desktop icon and am now unable to log into skype to update my details or top up my account because the skype website is banned in uae. skype still works ok but i can't access my account !
does anybody know how i can reinstate that shortcut on the desktop ?
I have managed to download the app file to my phone but it does not get recognised as a program file...Thank you

You mean the skype desktop icon on your N900 or your PC? I am also in UAE. You can use a vpn service to unblock.

Btw if you access this link https://secure.skype.com/account/login from your desktop pc without the proxy i.e. set it to Automatically detect settings then you will be able to access your account page.

hope this helps. cheers.

Skype is built in on the N900.
You can't "delete" the icon cause there are no icons.
