Confirmed: deleting files in rtcom-eventlogger fixes conversations bug. Maybe caused by the updates in the changelog?

I knew there would be risks before flashing, but what the hell.. xD
the improvements in speed and responsiveness make me more impatient for the final version.

But I haven't had most the the problems mentioned above and i'm a pretty heavy phone user.

either ways I'm happy xD

Thats the nice thing of open source you may download everything and install it on your device!

I hear people about chinese version. my PR1.2 is not chinese! i dont even have an option to set it to chinese language only Euro. so there must me more versions of the PR1.2 flying around on the internet.

People who have trouble, can you confirm that you guys have the 12-19 version? do you have the option of chinese language support? If so that could be the problem.

@ossipena, I had a welcome message and they thanked me for buying a n900. LOL. If they cut me off im gonna sue them. Its open source i can install anything i like on this thing!

ye i dont see the need for name calling. i knew the risk of flashing just as well as i know the risk of over overclocking and using alpha beta software.

but i dont care. i have fun with my device. lots to learn. i like testing and pushing the limits. why else would u buy a full open source device???? if ur not planning to join in the testing and dev you might aswell buy a iphone. would u also like me to wash your cloths??

being very involved with the development of the device is fun and feels like part of a community

Its fun isn't it? i love trying new stuff on this thing! And nokia just takes to damn long to release this 1.2 version no wonder that one day it would happen that this version was leaked.

And 1.2 isn't even that great! If you look at the user friendly interface of symbian then you will notice that maemo hasnt even half of the options.

I had the same problem. its a broken backup file! I installed an older backup and everything worked. \

BY THE WAY!! it has absolutely nothing to do with PR1.2 because i had this problem with both 1.1.1. before i installed 1.2 and still had the problem with the new 1.2 release.

Try an older backup and you will see it is working great! if you dont have an older backup... well... then your screwd...
