It is strange. If restart or uninstalling apps does not help,a reflash may be needed. What do others think?

this may 'fix' the problem.. but will wipe all old coversations...
open x term
cd .rtcom-eventlogger
mkdir keep
mv el* keep
then restart your phone...
not ideal but this problem appears to be a corrupt database.. seen it many times before

glad it's got you going again.. It's a shame.. it doesn't fix the real cause of the problem.. but it does "unblock" the phone..

Maybe PR1.2 will include a fix to stop it coming back, but until then it *might* come back..
Of all the cases I've seen in the past, though.. it didn't return..so fingers crossed you should be ok
