It was a thought. To me, the most convenient method is not to use the keys at all...

I think I've got it!

When you launch Telescope, have your application also launch two small applets with transparent images on the left and right side of the screen.

When pressing on one of them, they will flip to the next or previous window, even while being in full screen mode.

Witness? *lol*

EDIT:
Forgot to mention what an unhappy, hairy beast that might take to program.

Addison, what are you think about my task switcher near "close" button?
'cause all your suggestions seem too difficult for use.

Actually, I think your task switcher is brilliant!

The only thing is that barely anything carries over from your program while being in full screen mode which is how I run all of my apps.

That's all.

But yeah, I'm only giving out suggestions to help you to keep thinking outside the box like you're doing. Please don't take any of them as personal criticisms.

Cheers!

I have to say that I can't live without Telescope any more, it's a must-have combined with that great ThinkLinux widescreen theme

My bug observations:
Sometimes when using the onscreen keyboard in microB, parts of the keyboard disappear when the previously visited Url suggestions pop up while typing in the address bar. Then I have to tap inside the window first then tap the address bar and try again.
Also sometimes parts of the icons in the status bar aren't drawn and I have to switch to Telescope and back to the application to see them again.

Quick feature request: any chance we could get portrait mode support?

Sure, portrait support is planned and it is near-to-be-working in svn version. The only issue is how telescope should handle background in portrait mode? Hildon-Desktop itself doesn't compensate wallpaper rotation, so it becames stripped. Should telescope imitate this wrong behavior?

I didn't associate this in my mind with Telescope before your post, but I can confirm that I've got similar issues.

I have reproduced bug with disappearing of parts of onscreen keyboard. It is really seems like this is due to some bugs in how tablet's X.Org works with enabled Composite... When composite mode is enabled, some graphic operations are performed in a different way, because X Server maintains backing store pixmaps for every window and tries to reduce number of redraws. For now, i have no idea of how it could be fixed or workarounded May be some ideas will come later
