hi, i just bought n900 today n i have been trying to set up the wifi n it doesn't work. i even called nokia tech support n they don't even know where to start.. i am so frustrated. can anyone help me please?

lol you mean WiFi or WiFi N if its N then N900 doesnt support it anyways give us more details , what's exactly is your problem?

it's not even going to let me search hotspot nor anything like that. for starter, the nokia tech support asked me to go to setting and to go to connection and there is not even connection on my n900. there is network setup i'm confused lol

That's impossible when you go to Settings under connectivity there is a icon Internet connections. are you sure its a real N900?

yes it is. i checked the IMEI too with the nokia guy

from your n900, slide down using your finger from the "mid" screen (the one shown the bar of your mobile provider".

from over there choose "internet connections"
then you should see your wifi over there.

then you can connect and enter your key. Make sure its B/G wifi.
