i am looking at the garage now and i cant find an older version of cpufreqUI?

do titans kernels not work without the advanced linux kernel for power users download?
also can you please link me to an older version of cpufreqUI as i cannot find it on garage

yes you need that aswell as the settings one, if ur unsure check out the wiki http://wiki.maemo.org/Overclocking

you just need to download "kernel-flasher-maemo" (it will automatically install all kernels yo need) and kernel-power-settings" that is it.

that is because the cpufreq ui uses libs that is available on pr1.2, what you need to do is go to garage.maemo.org and type on the search bar "cpufrequi" click the app and then download.

EDIT: even without the cpufrequi, youl can still overclock your device (on your own risk). its just for monitoring possible cpu temp.

you can also monitor cpu temp by:

-open xterm
-sudo gainroot (rootsh must be installed)
-cat /sys/devices/platform/omap34xx_temp/temp1_input
You don't need to be root to read devices values

many thanks for the help, i am a bit of a newb with all the xterm stuff so how do i install the .deb for cpufrequi?

also i know its off topic but how can i free up space on rootfs? conky is showing only 20mib free

just click the link (with the .deb) app manager will open and start the installation.

20mb rootfs is normal, specially when you have devel and testing

ah thats ok then i was worried that it looked a bit low, why does conky never show processor frequency over 600mhz?
seeing as how you are so helpful you wouldn't happen to know the command line to remove an un needed apn connection would you?

i just clicked the .deb link and it didnt start the app manager it downloaded a file to my phone
