Can you multitask with your soon to be Droid, Let's say 30 applications open? Like our N900

....

But the 2.1 update introduced a number of new issues:

...good luck with that.

I own both. They are both decent phones. Nevertheless, the Milestone mostly rests in the drawer. Reasons include:
  • N900 keyboard is better
  • N900 screen is easier to read in difficult conditions
  • no tethering (unless rooted)
  • unlike Droid, no custom ROMs/kernels on Milestone
  • cannot ssh/scp into phone
  • very limited set of commands in terminal (unless busybox installed)
  • very difficult to port standard apps to Android due to missing libs, modified kernel
  • chat/skype integration much nicer on N900
  • better camera on N900
  • no flash on Milestone so far

Trading my N900 for a Milestone tomorrow
As pointed out by the others, who cares?

But, if I already wasted my time reading this, I might as well answer.

So, you're trading Maemo for Android? NO WAY!
That little insect-looking robot on their logo is just disgusting. And the Milestone looks pretty ugly.
