Hey guys,

I have just fixed the dependency issue which will be available in the next repository update.

and about arabic font issue.
for a nice look in arabic and persian languages this widget uses a custom font which is installed along with the app. but the phone needs to be restarted for the font to take effect. (of course there shoud be a better way than restrating. I'm not sure if "fc-cache -f -v" works without restarting. if so I can put a post-install script to do it automaticaly after installation)

and btw I'm going to add a font option in the settings for the next version. so you can use your own favorite font with this widget.

Thanks!
Before downlaoding the app;ication manager says it is a 7mb download and will use 20mb of space.
Is this correct? Is it optified?
Is there any way to have a smaller app (perhaps if choosing only one calnder instead of all different languages)?
Thanks for working on this

The application itself is about 200kb
and libicu42 which includes all the calendars and languages is only 700kb
The only problem is that the app is written in python so python interpreter and some python modules needs to be installed for the app to work which increases the download size if you don't have them already installed.

My widget is displaying the wrong date. I chose Gregorian. I gather the gregorians were a little ahead of time?

found a bug:

today May 15th, Islamic calendar should show 1st jamadiussani but instead its showing 31st jamadiulawwal which is impossible for a lunar cycle anyways.

ya i also wanted to mention that. islamic-civil worked. I still fail to understand how can a lunar cycle calendar output 31 and also what is the difference between Islamic calendar and Islamic-civil calendar? the developer would know exactly why he gave two Islamic calendars?

Actually I didn't write the calendar algorithms myself. I'm just using libicu for calendar calculations.
The only thing that I could understand from documentations is that the Islamic one is a religious/astronomical calendar while the Islamic-civil is a fixed-cycle civil calendar.
