I builded my own undervolt scheme, and was actually able to set stable (for my hw) the lowest volt settings (better than starving included)

VALUE VOLTAGE FREQUENCY
20 0.8500V 0 MHz
20 0.8500V 125 MHz
26 0.9250V 250 MHz
26 0.9250V 500 MHz
30 0.9750V 600 MHz
36 1.0500V 700 MHz
39 1.0875V 750 MHz
42 1.1250V 805 MHz
45 1.1625V 850 MHz
48 1.2000V 900 MHz
51 1.2375V 950 MHz
54 1.2750V 1000 MHz
62 1.3750V 1100 MHz

You guys will notice that I didn't used a 550MHz value as I find it an useless step (I am skipping it) like I am skipping the 1150MHz which my phone isn't able to afford if not for a short time.

These are the absolute lowest voltage I was able to set keeping my phone full stable, I am using it at 500-1000MHz on a daily basis, using latest Titan 27 kernel.

I would like to test your adjusted starving settings again when you are done. Hopefully titan will add them into his future/next config.

Had a restart during phonecall too. I should increse voltages from here and there. At lower frequencies ideal conf is almost same so you can use that until I find where I should increase it. But if you're overclocking then you can just add 1 to all voltage numbers. It increases voltages by 0.0125. Hopefully that will increase stability for you.

There's no way my N900 can handle Jokah conf.

I went through and increased the voltage values on `starving` by 1, still a bit unstable when doing random things - phone call and opening calendar, for some reason. I up'd the higher clock speeds by 2 and it seems to be a lot more stable now.

Jokah conf is crazy low! Lucky that your silicon can work with such low voltage.

Yeah, my N900 took one look at Jokah's settings and laughed (or rather, rebooted instantly). I've actually found it unstable at 600 with tonism's starving settings and the latest kernel, which I missed before because it was an ignore frequency - I upped voltage by 1 and it seems fine again now.

For me the starving settings, gave me excellent battery life and what seemed like a stable system, but when watching movies/vids the low voltage seem to stop decoding functioning properly, and i would get the "Unable to play media. Media format not supported" message.
now trying to play with my own voltage settings... wish me luck.

Unfortunately there is no "global" settings that works for all, it needs big luck with the hw, for example I cannot get my phone stable if I try anything above 1ghz which looks to be my barrier, in the other hand my hw seems to love and work great with undervoltage, so I was able to reach those values, I believe somewhat that climate condition can somewhat influence the phone reactions a little bit aswell, for example I am living in Switzerland and since 3-4 days we have terrible weather (12 degree outside during the day) when the summer will arrive I am guessing that I will prolly require to pump 1-2 step up the voltage settings we will see that in about a month

it could be a line ending problem (Windows vs. sane operating systems) with the file starving. try downloading the file with wget.
You were right.

Starving by the way, is running stable on my n900, with min. frequency at 125 and max at 1000 MHz.

Scary low voltage!

Did you tested every freq at locked speed? i bet that it will instant reboot if not at most freqs! if it does not scaling that much it won't be stable on some freqs.

I test it like this,
Run PI and watch a video with 800x480 24fps with arround 1024kbps to stress the device enough.
Sometimes it looks stable because it running the video fluently but you see artifacts because the dsp is low on voltage.

Yes i tested all voltage locking it, and did an approx 20min test at every MHz step that include web browsing, listening music and streaming movie on WorldTV99 and play Angry Birds this is the test i did for every step,
I use my phone from 500-1000Mhz (above wont work) with latest titan 27 power kernel, and it works like I indicated, what shall I say more I might have a very lucky N900 hw
