Note how inaccurate is that image meter, desktop command widget shows 60% and that image of battery is almost full.

That's an old screenshot from that Russian guy's N900 preview several months before release, when the software was considerably pre-release.

Still, it would be a nice feature to see an estimated battery lifetime in the status menu.

Advanced Power is available for the N900 in its SVN; but there are no debs available and requires packaging according to its author: http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...&postcount=448
