This is a fix for when the camera slider is no longer spring assisted.

huge thanks goes to jflatt . He pretty much told me how to take it apart, I just documented it! Thanks!!

Things you will need for sure:
Krazy Glue

Optional things that might help:
Exacto knife

Did it work for me?
Yes and no. If I had gone in there knowing what I know now, I could have fixed it 100%. But I ended up doing it wrong the first time, then having to take it all back apart and do it again. By then some of the glue had dried and I needed the exacto knife to cut out some of the plastic that was glued already. turned into a small mess. It's spring loaded again and that's kool; feels about 85% like it used to.

What if I make it worse?
Not sure how that's possible. but they are on Ebay now for $21 USD shipped.

Strangely, it felt like a failure when I first put it back together and I immediately ordered a new one, but after 20 or so slides, it feels pretty close the the way it came. I'm not sure I will be so quick to put the new one on.

once you have just enough glue to hold the spring, put it all back together and let it dry for about 5 - 10 minutes. then give it a slide!

Good luck!! huge thanks goes to jflatt . He pretty much told me how to take it apart, I just documented it! Thanks!!
