It's funny to see how the Apple fanboys are now in the positions of being "journalists" and get to spread their FUD of the supposed enemies of Apple. It's pretty sad that the followers of tech company fall into acting in behalf of their master Apple/Jobs whose only interest is getting more power and money.
And a question: why is there so much Apple related posts here at maemo.org nowadays? Isn't macrumors, ars technica and other apple-fanboi heavens better place to dwell in your apple circle jerks? And if fanbois posting Apple-positive stories think that they are evangelizing for "the better cause", please, you're only embarrassing yourself. Apple used to be the cool underdog but it's time to wake up, it's not anymore.

The problem with Apple fanbois is that they don't see Apple as a normal company but something better that has higher moral values than the other companies. Even if they admit Apple's flaws they find a way to rationalize it "because what Apple does is for greater good".
Apple uses fanbois' passion that many times resembles religous fundamentalist commitment to their advantage by setting certain competitors as their enemies, and then the attacks against those enemies begin. We are at the moment witnessing the attack against Adobe Flash, and as anyone reading propaganda pieces like that TechCrunch-guy wrote or reading commentary from the fanbois can see that they are belittling Adobe as much as they can at the moment. Steve Jobs' way is to belittle the competition, and tell outright lies to his advantage. His fans imitate him.
Many times the fanbois have an agenda of bringing out Apple in a good light in competitors' forums, and whenever I see some fans posting Apple-love stuff here it makes me wonder what is the poster's agenda. I see the worst Apple fanbois as sort of the same way I see the Scientologists: pretty sad bunch acting on someone's else's behalf who they are happy to give their money to. And that's fine with me, they can do what ever they want, but people like that can expect reaction if they try spread their FUD.
